The all-important proof...

The 13.9mm-thick phone has a 2.4in widescreen LCD to view eight-megapixel stills, which can be snapped with a top ISO sensitivity of up to 1600. An image stabiliser’s built into the device, and several photography flavour-of-the-month features are included, such as face detection, smile capture and a beauty mode that, it’s claimed, can remove “imperfections” from subject’s faces.

Smart Bluetooth lets you turn the camera into a webcam

The KC780 can capture at up to 30f/s and it stores all still pictures and videos on Micro SD cards.

LG’s equipped the phone with what it calls “Smart Bluetooth” which it said enables the user to use the phone’s camera as a webcam whenever it’s connected to their PC.

The LG-KC780 will be available in Europe next month. A price hasn’t been snapped yet.
