As Xbox 360 gamers patiently await next month’s release of one of the biggest videogame sequels since Halo 3, Microsoft’s begun adding to the launch hype by unveiling a Gears of War 2 Zune.

The firm’s etched the familiar Crimson Omen skull-in-a-cog logo onto the back of its black 120GB Zune. The multimedia player will also come pre-loaded with over 200 bits of GoW2 related goodies, including the game’s soundtrack, videos and artwork.
Microsoft’s also shoved the player into a lovingly crafted GoW2 box, which features enough game artwork to get you all fired up for the forthcoming title’s release.
The bad news, as usual, is that Zune’s aren’t available in the UK, so British gamers won’t be able to get their hands on this limited edition GoW2 Zune very easily. Still, at least you’ll save yourself $280 (£120/€175) when it’s released online in the US next month.
