A picture has popped up online of an upcoming Sony Ericsson handset that looks as though it’ll sit somewhere between the recently announced G705 slider and the latest Walkman, the W890i.

According to a report by the Unofficial Sony Ericsson Blog (USEB), the unannounced SE handset is codenamed 'Rika' and will be unveiled by the handset giant at some point next month.

None of the Walkman handset’s technical specifications have been uncovered yet, but it’s reasonable to assume that a numerical keypad slides out vertically – much like it does on the G705 – because Rika’s screen looks too small to sport a touch-sensitive keypad.

The picture shows a user-facing camera, so the talker’s certainly 3G enabled and set-up for video calls. Music shortcut keys also feature below the phone’s screen - well, it is a Walkman, after all.
