Images get us guessing

Pictures and specifications have been leaked online of the latest phone rumoured to be in development at HTC’s labs.

Although the phone’s thought to be called the HTC Touch HD, a shot of the talker’s “Device Information” screen shows that it actually provides a 480 x 800 resolution – hardly full HD. It's also capable of displaying 65,000-odd colours.
The same picture also confirms that the phone has a Qualcomm 7201A CPU running at 528MHz, and Bluetooth 2.0 for short-range data transfers.
Windows Mobile and Qualcomm make an appearance
A shot showing the Windows “Start” menu confirms that the handset runs on Windows Mobile 6.1, which means the phone’s almost certainly a touchscreen/stylus hybrid like Samsung’s new Omnia and Palm's Treo Pro. Pictures also show a 3G icon.
The source of the pictures has claimed to know that the phone also sports a five-megapixel camera, in addition to a Micro SD card slot and 3.5mm headphone jack.
A release date or price hasn’t been unearthed for the HTC Touch HD yet.
