Samsung has given anyone attending a trade show in the Netherlands a sneak peek an three upcoming brushed-silver handsets.

According to a report by MobiFrance, the Korean manufacturer unveiled the i900, U800 and L870 at the event, which had been organised by Dutch Telecom.

The i900 runs on the recently unveiled Windows Mobile 6.1 and offers tri-band GSM/GPRS, 3G and Wi-Fi connections.

The large display could mean the screen is touch-sensitive, although this hasn't been confirmed. The phone features a five-megapixel camera, putting the handset into a similar league as LG’s Viewty - reviewed here. Samsung hasn’t said what the phone’s storage capability is yet, but Bluetooth is included for short-range data transfers.

Unfortunately, less is known about the U800 and L870, which both operate over quad-band GPRS and are capable of UMTS 3G connections.

The L870 runs on Symbian and S60, and has a three-megapixel camera. Samsung hasn’t confirmed the U800’s OS, although it’s reasonable to assume it may be the same S60 edition, but the phone does have the more powerful 3.2-megapixel camera and a radio.

Scheduled release dates or potential prices for the i900, U800 and L870 haven’t been seen yet.
