Internet s&x auction ends in pregnancy, legal feud
Not the sort of seller feedback you'd expect
Nobody could have predicted that the plans of a woman in Germany to auction herself online for anonymous sex with six different men could go wrong. Even the noblest of intentions have their ways.
After discovering she was pregnant from her amorous senary, the woman successfully sued the web site that hosted the auction to reveal the men's identities.
On Tuesday, the district court in Stuttgart ruled that the interests of the unborn child was more pressing than the website's guarantee to the bidders that their personal data would be kept private.
According to the German news pub Spiegel Online, the unidentified woman slept with the six men in April and May last year. When the men bid for the encounter, they were assured their personal data would not be revealed.
Unfortunately one of the men appears to have inadvertently transmitted some very personal data in the heat of the moment.
Upon learning she was pregnant, the woman wanted their contact details, but knew the six men only by their internet screen names. And in the Biblical sense, of course.
The court declined to give the woman's name and age. Maybe if I had her baby they'd...? ®
