Sony has unveiled an additional series of Bravia LCD TVs, this time boasting a cutting-edge portability accessory: a carry handle.

Sony's Bravia B4000: now with a carry handle, apparently

The Bravia B4000 series comes in 20in, 23in and 26in versions, and, in Sony’s words, features a “convenient handgrip” at the back to make the TV more “easily and safely portable". The company's so keen on the feature that... er... none of its piccies of the telly actually show the handle. We've asked for a shot of it - if it arrives, we'll post it here.

It’s questionable just how useful a carry handle is, but then if you’re the type of person that can’t go one month without rearranging your living room then it could be perfect idea.

Sony’s also integrated a stand into the B4000 series, which means it’s ready to... er... sit the second you finally decide where to put it.

Buyers get two HDMI sockets, unless they choose the 20in model, which only has one socket. A digital tuner’s built-in too, so you won’t have to worry about Freeview boxes when you’re moving the TV around the room.

Unfortunately, Sony’s staying mysteriously quiet about the range’s full specs for the time being. However, we do also know that users can choose from either a pearly white or glossy mocha colour case to match your coffee.

A European release date or price hasn’t been given yet.
