LG's Prada phone goes silver
A new face for the new year
LG is hoping to boost demand for its Prada-brand KE850 handset by announcing a silver-skinned, upgraded model.
LG's Prada: now in silver
Aside from the overhaul to the phone's faceplate, LG has also added a virtual Qwerty keyboard alongside the standard phone key layout offered by the previous model - reviewed here. This should allow would-be catwalk queens to type the restaurant details that they’re 'doing lunch' at next week into the handset’s 3in touchscreen that little bit quicker.
The box has gone silver too
Unfortunately, LG’s not opted to update any of the Prada’s other features. So it's still a tri-band handset with a two-megapixel camera, Micro SD card slot, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP for wireless music streaming and a talk time of around three hours.
A silver cover to keep drool off the handset
Oh, LG is throwing in a silver leather case and some earphones too though.
The silver LG Prada will be released in Europe later this month. There's no word yet on pricing.
