Nokia turns on to Bluetooth cans

Nokia has launched a trio of Bluetooth headsets: a pair of standard mobile phone extensions and a full-size pair of wireless cans for music fans.
Nokia's BH-803 and BH-602: sleek and stylish
The BH-602 and BH-803 are both very similar in size and style, mixing sleek and sexy surfaces with traditional earhook designs.
The real surprise, though, is the BH-604, an A2DP wireless stereo-enabled, over-the-ear cup headset with all the looks of a pair of noise-cancelling Bang & Olufsen headphones, with an AVRCP remote control of course.

The features and abilities of each headset are quite different. The BH-803 is a lightweight 11.3g, Bluetooth 1.1 offering. Nokia has included a "fast charging capability", digital signal processing technology to drown out background noises, and a touch-sensitive volume control.
For those who just don't stop chatting, the BH-602 Bluetooth 1.1 offering has a talk time of up to 11 hours. It has fast-charging too - for example, a 15-minute charge provides five hours' talk time, with an LED battery level indicator to display remaining time.
It also includes automatic volume adjustment and muting, along with keys for call rejection, voice dial activation and hold/call swapping. Nokia warn some of these features will only work with a "compatible" mobile device - so is the answer to buy Nokia?.
The BH-604 brings Bluetooth 2.0 on board, and has three media keys for play/pause/stop, fast-forward and rewind. There are controls for power and call functions too.
All three models are due to be available in the third quarter of 2007, with the BH-602 set to cost €75-90 (£51-61/$101-121), the BH-604 €120-140 (£81-95/$161-188) and the BH-803 €140-160 (£95-108/$188-215).
