NASA releases movie-style trailer

NASA was created by man. There were many missions. And they have a plan.

Clearly influenced by the styles of modern sci-fi, NASA has released a movie-style trailer promoting the next Moon missions.

A video showing exciting and dynamic CGI footage of astronauts building an early incarnation of Moonbase Alpha has appeared on YouTube.

Complete with three or four word taglines flashing up on screen with a rear-projected light source washing through them creating edge-of-seat emotion...a little like the opening sequence of the current re-interpreted series of Battlestar Galactica...

"We Took A Giant Leap..." it says.

Cut to gentle zoom out of the Moon's crater-covered surface...

"We Stopped." it explains.

"It's Time To Take Another Giant Leap."

...you get the idea.

Presumably, the basic premise is to generate public support, and given the absolute durge that sustains our cinemas at the moment, this actually looks much more exciting.

Just imagine how the plot could unfold: the Americans land...and find the Chinese already there. Awesome. ®
