Intel may be preparing to launch its 'Bearlake' chipset series later this week. Well, motherboard makers are going to be showing off boards based on the upcoming silicon at CeBIT on Thursday.

The first to tell us that's what they'll be doing is Elitegroup (ECS). Today, it said its will have boards based on the P35, G35 and Q35 Bearlake-family chipsets on its stand. ECS' mobos include the gaming-centric P35T-A, the integrated G33T-M and the enterprise-oriented Q35T-M.

Plenty of Bearlake specifications have leaked out of Intel already - support for a 1333MHz frontside bus, DDR 3 memory support, ICH9 South Bridge - but ECS did reveal that the latter chip also supports Intel's 'Robson' Flash cache module.
