Tul has extended its range of PowerColor-brand AMD ATI Radeon X1950 Pro-based graphics cards with a passively cooled "silent" version. The card's fitted with an Arctic Cooling heatsink that's bigger than it is.

Tul PowerColor X1950 PRO SCS3

The PowerColor X1950 PRO SCS3 is fitted with 256MB of GDDR 3 memory clocked at 1.38GHz and connected across a 256-bit bus. The core runs at 575MHz. The board provided video input ports as well as outputs, which include two dual-link DVI ports and an s-video connector. It's also compatible with the HDCP anti-piracy system, so it's ready for HD playback from Blu-ray and HD DVD sources. The GPU provides AMD's Avivo video enhancement and acceleration system.

The PowerColor card was launched in Taiwan this week. There's no word yet on wider availability.
