Canon fires off volley of new cameras
From printers to projectors, cameras to camcorders

This morning in London, Canon proudly showed off its Spring collection for 2007, comprising of no fewer than 43 new products aimed at both the consumer audience and professional user, from printers to projectors, cameras to camcorders.
The products announced include the quite spectacular EOS 1D Mk III digital SLR camera, aimed very much at the professional or serious amateur photographer, two new compact digital cameras in the IXUS range (the 75 and 70) and four new digital cameras in the PowerShot range (the A570 IS, A560, A550 and A460).
The new range also include 13 new photo kits (typically comprising of either the EOS 400D or EOS 30D digital SLR camera, lens, battery charger, battery pack and strap), eight new lens kits (from ultra wide zoom to telephoto to wide angle)
On the printer front, three new domestic PIXMA printers were announced, including the iP90v, the iP1800 and iP2500.
There were also six new camcorders announced: the HV20, DC50, DC230, DC201, MD160 and MD101.
Finally, the VB-C300 network camera was shown, two new inkjet faxes (the JX500 and JX200), four new additions to the Sensys range – the LBP55360 and LBP5100 laser printers, plus two laser all-in-one, multi-function devices the MF4690PL and MF4660PL and finally three new projectors: the LV-X7, LV 7265 and LV7260.
