Reader offer Motorola's Homesight remote domestic monitoring kit is to be offered in the UK, allowing parents to keep an eye on their kids, spouses to spy on crafty consorts and travellers to bust burglars at a distance using a computer or a mobile phone.

Reseller MySecurity247 today announced it will next month ship a variety of Motorola Homesight components - including wireless webcams; door-seal detectors; motion, water and temperature sensors; and system controllers - all backed by the company's own remote access service.

The company will offer two online offerings: a standard service for £5.95 a month which connects two cameras and up to five other devices, and a £11.95 premium services which supports three cameras and five other units.

Prices for the individual units range from £13 for a door sensor to £40 for a camara capable of delivering viewable pictures both night and day. All the devices connect via a controller unit and a broadband internet connection to MySecurity247's remote service package, which links them to remote viewing kit.
