What better way to say "I love you" than with a small plastic rabbit? The curiously named Nabaztag is not of the rampant variety - it's a Wi-Fi tool permanently connected to the internet, which gives it some pretty special skills. For while it may not initially appear to be as romantic as red roses, a little creative thought on your part will have it melting your better half's heart. Send Nabaztag an email declaring your love and it'll read your missive out. Stream it some audio and it can play her love songs. More Barry White than Barry Manilow, we'd say. Heck, the bunny will even turn text to speech so you can get it to read out poetry, love stories or rude stuff. It doesn't get much more romantic than a six-inch rabbit reading out a love poem.

Verdict
Well, that about wraps it up for another year. And in 12 months' time, exactly the same thing will happen again: you'll think you mustn't forget to find a pressie when you've weeks to go. Then you completely forget, then you remember, and all of a sudden it's 13 February and you're utterly flummoxed for something to buy. And then Register Hardware will come to your rescue - yet again.
