123-Reg denies problems
That's so last year
Domain name provider 123-Reg has denied it has any customer service problems, despite several complaints from Register readers, an increase in moaning bloggers, and new websites set up to collect complaints about the company.
We've received emails from customers who've seen their credit cards debited for domains the company had failed to register.
The company suffered serious email problems late last year and told us that current problems related to the email outage have been resolved.
The company sent us the following statement: "123-reg has looked into the comments raised on the forums indicated by the Register and knows these to be issues that were resolved when they arose last year – either isolated incidents or, in one case, the points highlighted by the customer were actually false. None of the cases are current or unresolved.
"123-reg strives to provide a great product offering at very competitive prices and welcomes feedback from our customers and suggestions for practical customer improvement." ®
