Apple has upgraded its Windows-on-Mac utility, Boot Camp. The new release, version 1.1.2, brings support for the "latest Intel-based Macintosh computers" - presumably a reference to the new, Core 2 Duo-equipped MacBook Pros.

Other tweaks to the application - which incorporates both a dynamic re-partitioning utility and Windows XP drivers for Apple's hardware - include an improved driver installation process, better support for non-US systems and improved Wi-Fi networking.

Apple also said it had fixed some sleep bugs and issues with Mac laptops' trackpad - two-finger scrolling and two-finger right-clicking works correctly now, the company said. Apple's USB-connected 56Kbps modem also now works as it should.
