Pammie tops Lycos top 50 search terms
Pneumatic actress leads ten-year stats
It's official: the delightful Pamela Anderson has topped the Top 50 search terms for the last ten years, closely followed by Dragonball and Pokemon.
According to Lycos, Britney Spears was the most sought after singer, 'N Sync topped the bands while the Simpsons and Star Wars were the most popular TV and film searches, respectively.
The top ten is:
- Pamela Anderson
- Britney Spears
- Las Vegas
- Sept. 11 Attacks
Hmmm. A notable absence of quality net pornography there, unless you consider that probably 94.7 per cent of those searching for Pammie were looking for her infamous beast-with-two-backs video romp with Tommy Lee.
Likewise, we reckon that the fact that the highest-rated sportperson in Lycos' chart is Anna Kournikova (23rd) has nothing whatsoever to do with her backhand technique.
Mercifully, among the Princess Dianas (11th), Mariah Careys (35th) and Oprah Winfreys (44th), there is one further sign of hope for humanity: marijuana comes in at a very respectable 20th, beating even jub-flash superstar and chest jewellery aficionado Janet Jackson into a modest 24th spot.
