Get back to your crack den, agent of Satan

Cripes

FoTW We don't get many like this. This is what is known as a quality flame. It has nearly everything: barely constrained anger, personal insults, accusations of drug use, unnecessary exclamation marks, capitalisation...we could go on.

It also has another classic hallmark of a great flame: typos. Those few spelling errors we have identified have been produced in the time-honoured fashion: the fury the writer feels is so great, he must type faster than his fingers are really capable of, lest his brain explode with the boiling, sulphurous anger he feels.

If it does have a weakness, it is that it sticks to a single subject, and is almost coherent. Shame on you, Sir, you were doing so well.

Oh, and it was in response to the news that Firefox lost ground to IE for the first time since the browser launched:

Dear Sir,

With regards to your recent article "Firefox loses ground to IE". WHAT THE FU*K???!!!!! Who the hell would take usage statistics like this seriously? Are you on crack? If not you sodding well should be. 40,000 users is nothing. Shit, there are probably more Millwall fans out there, would yer listen to them twats?

Something like 600 million people are on the internet. Is it just possible the overwhelming majoirty of these people will be using a web browser.

So on the one hand we have the entire fu*king planet, representing a hugley diverse group of indivuduals, over half billion of them. And on the other hand we have 40,000 l-users that visit a small amount of sites, (what sort of shitty sites would actually use netapplications 'services'), most of which are IE only.

Not to mention that the wankheads over at netapplications switched in Oct 2003 from linux (good) to Microsoft's excuse for a platform, IIS (bad). What sort of total retard does that? And what sort of total retard are you for listening to their opinion on internet software, particulaly when it relates to Microsoft versus OSS.

Fu*k, they're probably paid by Microsoft to produce 'research' every now and again that backs up anything that Billy-Bob has recently spouted. I know that theregsiter isn't really meant to be a serious news source, but come on, lamebrain. Get with the fu*king program.

Your own server uses linux (well, Debian), so the least you can do is not give lip service to Microsoft toadies spewing their bullshit for all to hear.

Why don't you go back to the crack den you were obviously in when you shat out this 'article' and get yourself another hit. Maybe this time it'll make you scribble down something that's actually news, not just a Microsoft advert.

Yours pissed-off-dly,

Math Campbell

Marvellous. ®
