Titsup wireless broadband operator Invisible Networks could be on the verge of being rescued.

A message on the company's Web site reads: "Invisible Networks has agreed a deal to transfer the business and network. We expect to provide continuity of service to as many customers as possible."

A full announcement could be made as early as today.

No one at Invisible Networks or insolvency outfit McTear Williams and Wood was available for comment at the time of writing.

Yesterday, The Register reported that Mapesbury Communications Ltd (MCom) - which describes itself as a "neutral host broadband wireless internet access hotspots" - was interested in Invisible Networks.

No one from MCom was available for comment at the time of writing. ®
