Letter As you know many American companies have had to register for VAT. Including Google. It thefore made me laugh when Google sent me an email asking me to change my adwords advert for my website.

VAT cheat sheet
Written originally by the people
who know. HM Customs & Excise.

Here is Google's response.

Ad Text: Your ad text includes phrases that do not meet our grammar requirements. I suggest making the following change(s):

Current: "HM Customs & Excise."
Replace with: "HM Customs & Exercise."

Are they trying to say the our beloved VAT man is over-weight?

Or is this a subtle way to make their feelings felt over having to register for VAT?

I am waiting for the email that says:

Replace: "HM Customs & Exercise"
With: "HM Sex & Exercise"

and then:

Replace: "HM Sex & Exercise"
With: "HM Sex & Travel"

or just plain:

"F*ck off"
