Lastminute.com could be facing legal action among call centre workers amid allegations that the online bucket shop has imposed new working conditions without proper consultation.

A lawyer told the Guardian that there was "massive industrial unrest" at the call centre in Farringdon in London.

There is even speculation that staff may have already taken the matter into their own hands with only one person turning up for work last Sunday, although this is denied by Lastminute.com.

Staff claim that the new working conditions will lead to new shift patterns and possible pay cuts.
