Firstnet agrees to buy Liberty Broadband
Too shy to talk though

Liberty Broadband - the fixed wireless operator formally known as Tele2 (UK) - was formally placed into liquidation on January 10.
Six days later the liquidators agreed to sell the business to Leeds-based ISP Firstnet, although this has yet to be finalised.
However, a spokeswoman for the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), told The Register that the licences that allowed Liberty Broadband to operate its wireless broadband network are being re-issued to Firstnet in order to "ensure the continuity of supply" to customers.
No one from Firstnet was prepared to comment despite repeated attempts to seek clarification.
Thankfully, a spokeswoman at the DTI wasn't quite so shy about coming forward.
She also told us that Firstnet is due to issue a statement about the company's future in the next day or so. Now, wasn't so hard now, was it? ®
