Re: Sodomites overrun Amazon.com

Dear Mr. Orlowski:

Thanks for your story regarding the curious Amazon.com juxtaposition of my book with Pat Robertson's *Six Steps to Spiritual Revival*:

Most of the other stories on this incident mentioned Pat Robertson and the title of his book quite prominently yet euphemized the title of mine or otherwise omitted the names of the book and author. So I appreciate your thoroughness in reporting this story.

Although Amazon "cleaned up" the Robertson book page, mine still lists a recommendation for the *Holy Bible: King James Version: Standard Text Edition* instead of my book, and Dr. Seuss' *Hop on Pop* in addition to mine. This seems foolish on Amazon's part, don't you think? Or at least hypocritical.

In the case of the PlanetOut news article it seems particularly spineless of a gay news site to avoid the word "anal" although they mention the Robertson book by name.

To add to the irony, when I clicked to the PlanetOut article, it was featured next to an ad offering T-shirts reading "pitcher" and "catcher" (as in top and bottom positions for men having anal sex).

Best regards,

--Bill Brent, author of *The Ultimate Guide to Anal Sex for Men* (Cleis Press, ISBN 157344121X)
