Dell has agreed terms over rechargeable battery technology owned by a company called UNOVA, which filed suit against the PC giant in February, 2000.

The deal has not been made public, suffice to say, that Dell joins three other "major computer companies representing more than half of US production of laptop and portable computers," as licensees of UNOVA's battery and power management patents.

Dell is currently in litigation with Tulip Computers, which accuses the company of infringing patents over AT form factor PCs. ®
