Visiontek, the US retail graphics board specialist, is the first company to launch a high-end Nvidia TI4600 graphics card in Europe.

The board is called the Xtasy GeForce4 Ti 4600 and it's shipping through Wortmann AG and Maxcom GmbH in Germany and Man and Machine Ltd, in the UK.

No we hadn't heard of Man and Machine either. Oh and the board has been out since March 1, and Visiontek sent out a press release on March 4, which passed us by at the time.

However, the European press received the missive only today. We guess that CEBIT, which sort of opens its doors tomorrow, has something to do with the timing.
Visiontek last month opened its first European sales and marketing HQ, in London, and a regional office in Aachen, Germany. The company says it is "prepared for an aggressive push into the European market with a strong brand, exceptional products based on NVIDIA graphics technology, and a talented regional team."
