BT Indirect Channels (BTIC) and Cisco today teamed up to announce Integrator, a channel programme that provides resellers with a one-stop shop for Cisco's kit and BT's telephony and network offerings.

Integrator is in essence a virtual distribution platform for BTIC to widen its reach into SME customers, a market that brother company and competitor, direct-selling BT Retail, struggles to effectively target.

John Thornhill, BTIC's general manager, says Integrator offers resellers an all-in-one solution, allowing them to offer their customers a comprehensive voice and data solution. He also hopes it will enable specialist voice resellers to more easily push data products and vice versa.

Resellers get access to a variety of value-adds like network leasing options and a wide range of products within a specialist field, something BTIC claims no other company currently provides. It also provides a single point for billing, ordering (either online or via a call centre) and expertise.

Next year will see the programme expanding to provide extra tech skills and a wider range of products and services.

Azlan, an existing Cisco and BT distie, provides the fulfilment and logistics for the programme. ®
