BTopenworld is to resell a range of wireless networking products from Linksys. It hopes to flog them off the back of its broadband Internet packages.

There are two packages available, allowing wireless networking for to 15 users.

Its SME business offer, the System Package, adds a wireless access point (or base station) and is capable of networking up to 15 computers. The basic configuration goes for £297.02.

The Starter Pack, aimed at home users or home workers, links two to four computers and starts at £157.45.

Both packages have optional USB adapters and PCMCIA cards to allow notebook or desktop PC users to connect with the kit. 128-bit WEP encryption is also available as an optional extra.

Linksys is one of the top five wireless equipment makers in the world, according to the Dell'Oro Group. ®
