Bailiffs on the way to Time Computers' shops

Updated A property company has decided to send the bailiffs round to two of Time Computers' shops because the rent has not been paid.

The outlets are owned by Peel Holdings, a major property group based in Manchester. A representative from Peel Holdings confirmed the company had made the decision to send the bailiffs round, but couldn't say when they'd arrive - maybe later today or tomorrow.

The Peel representative said the stores in question are located in Stockport and Blackburn. "Our objective is to get them to pay their rent," he said.

He wouldn't say how much Time owed or how long it had owed it.

The Blackburn store moved from the Peel owned Whitebirk Retail Park to the Townsmoor Retail Park last year. The new store premises is not owned by Peel.

The Stockport store is in the Peel Centre, Great Portwood Street. ®

Update

Time Group has informed us it has discharged its debt to Peel Holdings.
