Sales at Fayrewood, the UK-listed, European operated IT distribution holding group, were up 54 per cent to £and profits were up 97 per cent to £10m. 260m for the year to 30 April, 2001.

The directors reckon the net worth of the company is £100m, compared with the £6 million raised in net equity in the UK.



Computerland UK has delivered pre-tax profits of £304k on sales up 31 per cent to £36.9 million for the year to 30 April 2001. The previous year it turned in a loss of £182k. The Nottingham-based reseller reports a "strong cash inflow of £1.2m (and) net cash of £3.6m". Also longer-term contract biz is up, reducing the firm's "future vulnerability to more volatile product sales".




Anite is paying up to £1.8m for Didgicom Ltd, a develope of "bespoke travel software products". Anite will shell out £650K up front and the rest is contingent on Didgicom hitting profits targets. The business will complement Anite's travel division.
