Want your own piece of an earthquake? No problem. Within hours of the 6.8 Richter earthquake hitting Seattle opportunist eBayers were offering genuine Seattle Earthquake rubble up for auction.

Thanks to them you too can now own your own brick or random piece of debris that used to part of a downtown building for as little as one dollar. Don't miss out - just think how much that brick will appreciate in years to come.

Of course not all Seattle earthquake rubble is the same. Debris from the Starbucks building is marked at a whopping $14 and at time of writing had all of three bids. Sorry folks, no Amazon rubble this time - its HQ is built on solid granite - but the troubled giant is expecting its own little earthquake any time soon. <insert joke about bricks and mortar here>

If anyone wants there own piece of Seattle history, without going to eBay, simply e-mail me and I'll go and pick up any bit of stone, plaster or brick that you like - for free! You have to pay the postage, however - and deal with customs.

Personally I'm going for the also advertised "I survived the Seattle Earthquake" button pin. Because I did. ®
