Who has the biggest of them all?

The BBC has nobbled Bigbollocks.com.

The charmingly-named site which dangled its domain over the BBC's massive portal is now redirecting traffic to microsoft.com after someone fiddled with it.

Peter Norris, the registered owner of bigbollocks.com, told Reg: "The Beeb have used the Host Header Protocol or similar to redirect any incoming HTTP with the URL of BigBollocks.com to...microsoft.com.

"Seems some big names are arguing about who is the most bollocks!"

Pete explained that he bought the domain because he wanted a "wanted a fun email address" and decided to point the site to the BBC's portal "'cos it was there".

But it hasn't always been easy for Pete.

"This Domain Name has given me some grief in the past. Shortly after I registered it I started getting some odd emails from some people who have a genuine and probably unhealthy interest in Big Bollocks.

"They thought I was running a site about it. I've found out that some blokes like to have a little slit cut in their scrotal sack and then have it inflated with the aid of a straw. Apparently such persons like to go out with nurses due to their medical skills.

"About a couple of months ago the mystery of how I had attracted such a bunch of oddballs (ha-ha) was solved when I got an irate email from a fella in Maida Vale complaining about the site not being up as it was almost a year since he had seen it on Graham Norton! I've no idea what he did see."

Graham Norton, for those who don't know, is a camp comedian who hosts a very funny, yet saucy, show on British TV. ®
