IBM has launched yet more additions to its product range - this time it's the turn of Big Blue's shiny desktops.
The models are in the NetVista PC range, and include two offerings for consumers - the NetVista A20i and A40i, and two for medium and large businesses - the A20 and A40.
The PCs are Internet-ready and designed to be easy to use.
Big Blue also announced a couple of freebies it plans to throw in with these new desktops. The IBM Backup and Restore is a data protection and recovery piece of software aimed at giving users one-button restore capabilities should their system crash.
And IBM Data Transfer is aimed at moving data from an old PC to a new PC via an IBM CD. The company claims all personal settings and data can be shifted in minutes.
The A series models come with the Windows ME operating system. The A20i is based on either a 700MHz Celeron or Pentium III 733MHz chip. The A401 comes with PII up to 933MHz or AMD Duron 600 and Athlon 1Ghz with 128 SDRAM.
Prices start at £556 for the NetVista A20 and £596 for the A40. ®
