Televirtual - which describes itself as a pioneering cyber content company - reckons it's onto a sure-fire winner with a politically inspired talking head.

It's just launched an animated cartoon character called Tony Blah, which delivers email messages aloud, or so the blurb says.

A Televirtual spokesman went on to say that Tony Blah was obviously not seriously intended to resemble or lampoon any existing UK political figure, although if that's the case, why the heck did they bother in the first place?

Still, the avatar does come equipped with the world's first virtual control-freak body language, apparently.
