Another Duron review for your perusal, this time from System Logic. A far more ornamental writing style than most reviews, but perhaps more interesting because of that. Drop in and do a decent bottom turn en route to the site to check out his thoughts.

Articles about memory units have been closely mimicking the behaviour of buses it seems. (As in, you wait all day and then two come along at once.) After the piece from Arstechnica two days ago, Ace's Hardware also delves deep into DRAM.

Something for the more melodiously minded? Tech-Report has reviewed the Rome MP3 player here. It has some good points some bad points, according to reviewer Jer Davis. Despite initially being impressed, trouble with the sound quality meant that ultimately it got a "thumbs down".

Here's something for Metallica's Lars Ulrich to get excited about. For Men has posted a head to head punch out review between the Mambo-X and MPTrip CD/MP3 players. You'll be able to burn 11 hours worth of Napster downloads onto one CD then play it 'til your batteries go flat.

Swooping past Tom's page on some good advice from a friend, I came across his site's coverage of the AMD K6-2+. The reviewer describes it as an affordable upgrade for Socket 7's, but points out that there are availability problems, and that it may not be immediately compatible with all boards.

And finally, Anand joins the fray with his musings on the T-Bird, the Duron and the whole issue of overclocking here
