The dotcom revolution has been a harsh one and the battle for eyeballs has become a war of attrition with all sides suffering substantial losses. Many previously financially-secure types have taken the Net gamble and will most likely have a partial breakdown when the bubble bursts and they're left with nothing but a URL for their trouble.

Now, I didn't get where I am today by idly sitting by watching these Web site Johnnies suffer, so I have set up ClickCharity™.

Pay attention, this is how it works. We find a site down on its luck, sniff out something of interest on it and then it's over to you - all you have to do is click on it. The plan is that we get to these poor companies before their cash runs out and their advertisers leave them up e-creek.

This week, we pass our good faith on to a fellow IT news site, VNUNet. This hit-starved site has even had to resort to promoting Beenz and offering free classified ads for visitors. Not to mention a 1 million billboard advertising campaign.

Jobs are on the line. You know what to do.
