Too much email could damage your sex-drive, according to a report published today.

The Institute of Management (IM) found that keeping up with emails was number 10 in a list of things that caused British executives untold stress in today's modern world. Not only does it damage their performance at work, it also interferes with their home lives, the report said.

Half of those execs questioned said stress led to a lower sex drive. Other symptoms included excessive tiredness and disturbed sleep.

While too much email, and being able to handle it effectively, has been singled out as a cause of stress, the report does not mention the effects of not getting enough - email, that is.

It's one thing to be inundated, but to receive nothing at all - not even a spam - now that is stressful. ®
