Apple pushes back release date for 'dustbin chic' Mac Pro

Fanbois will have to wait until April

It has been described as Darth Vader's dustbin, but that hasn't stopped fanbois from salivating over the new Mac Pro.

But they will have to keep drooling a little while longer after Apple pushed back the release date of their new high-end desktop to April.

Customers in Blighty, Europe and the Far East may have to wait until Easter to get their hands on the powerful and upgradable cylindrical computer.

It was originally released in December, but the sleek, black unit was so popular that it went onto back order.

Now it seems that demand is outstripping supply, with the Apple site admitting the flash new device would only be shipped in April.

Here's a few tweets from unhappy fanbois, who were mildly miffed at the delay.
