Brits' HSBC bank cards, net access goes TITSUP
Hi everyone! We're really sorry about this
HSBC in the UK is suffering an unexplained outage across a number of systems today.
Brit customers have had their cards declined and experienced problems using internet banking and the fast balance app.
A spokesperson for the bank told The Reg: "We're aware that some customers are experiencing problems and we're looking into it."
The first tweets started rolling in the last hour to @HSBC_UK_Help asking the bank why customer transactions were being declined.
HSBC is having a few problems. My card was declied and customer service told me to call back in an hour as they're having a system problem.
