REVEALED: Everything Everywhere new 4G logo ... a SNAIL?

Here's a tip: Needs more go-faster stripes

Everything Everywhere has chosen a surprising design to accompany the launch of its 4G next-gen mobile broadband in Britain, we've discovered.

Ten trademarks were registered with the Intellectual Property Office on 29 May, and have now emerged: the ten include the phrases "4G Every", "4G Everywhere", "4G Everything Everywhere" and "4GEE".

Each one features a distinctive design that bears a close resemblance to a snail - one of the fastest animals on Earth [Is that right? - sub-ed]. Here's one example:

The Everything Every 4G snail

EE, the UK's largest mobile network, has explained that it will retain its Orange and T-Mobile brands in Blighty, but use the name Everything Everywhere for its corporate identity until it eventually rebrands itself. So with the design settled, all that remains is for a suitable strategy boutique to get to work justifying the new design.

Something like this, perhaps:

Glistening and sleek, the gastropod represents everything that's exciting about the next-generation of digital networking. Nothing is as mobile or independent as a snail, which carries its home on its back - just like today's mobile connected consumer.

You can probably do better in the comments below. In fact, you almost certainly can. ®
