Sony to update Tablet S for PS3 controller gaming

Skype video calling on the Tablet P

Sony has begun pushing out a firmware update for its Tablet S and P fondleslabs which allows the latter to do Skype video calling and lets the S use PlayStation 3 wireless controllers for gaming.

According to Sony Japan, the update takes the tablets to "Android 3.2.1 Release 2", as the company puts it. The first version of 3.2.1 was pushed out in November.

That release appeared overseas, but the latest update has yet to appear on the Sony UK website. ®
