Paris brushes off Japanese ejection over coke bust

Paris Hilton was barred from entering Japan this morning after a six hour grilling by immigration officials curious about her position on nose candy.

The talented model/actress/heiress, was stopped at Tokyo airport on Tuesday when she attempted to enter the country to promote her fashion and fragrance lines.

Apparently Hilton was subjected to close scrutiny by immigration officials for six hours, though given some of her previous exploits this shouldn't have been too debilitating for the international business woman.

The officials were less interested in Paris' fragrance line than her recent bust for cocaine possession in Las Vegas last month. She reportedly settled the case this week, with a plea bargain that landed her with a $2000 fine and 200 hours community service.

We have no doubt Paris will now gamely repay her debt to society by teaching Nevada teenagers how sex, porn and drugs ruin your life.

Sadly, the Japanese take a dim view of such matters. In the past they have refused entry to such international moral menaces as Sir Paul McCartney and Diego Maradonna.

So, after a night at an airport hotel while officials pondered their position - the indignity - she was bounced onto a flight straight back to the US.

Paris remains unbowed by Japan's unseemly ejection, and breezily tweeted this morning, "About to take off. Going home now. So disappointed to miss my fans in Asia. I promise to come back soon. I love you all! Love Paris xoxo"
