Tough enough to take 'Shazza 4 Bazza' scrawls?
Intel has launched the latest incarnation of its Classmate PC - announced earlier this year - in the UK ahead of the gadget's arrival next month.

The Atom-based convertible sports a largely standard netbook spec - Atom CPU, 10.1in, 1024 x 600 display and integrated Wi-Fi - but will debut with the decidedly odd moniker Fizzbook Spin, which sounds more like a character from a Harry Potter story that a classroom computer.

It will be sold here by CMS and Research Machines.
Intel's latest Classmate design incorporates a big carry handle and a stylus-controlled touchscreen which pivots round from the standard clamshell layout into tablet form. Its webcam rotates too.
In the UK next month
The chip maker said the computer has also been designed to withstand the knocks and bumps of life in the classroom, bus rides homes and having the words 'Arsenal rool' scrawled on back. ®
