Where to start with unified comms

A check list for success

On Demand Unified communications can on one level look like an enormously challenging project – a huge amorphous blob of cables, PBX’s, switches and user requirements and lots of user requirements.

Assuming you can untangle that lot, however, there’s still some pretty big fish to fry. How do you get someone to sign off a project that is, to all extents and purposes, just going to give you some phones that people can use?

Well, for those of you considering such a venture, we think we’ve got just the tonic – our latest presentation on unified communications, cunningly entitled, 'Moving ahead with Unified Comms: Projects and Practicalities.'

This is a 30 minute dive into the deep end of unified comms and should give you some real pointers on how to get started with the UC challenge. It’s packed with real world examples and filled to the rafters with tips and techniques on how to pull off a great UC project.

We’ve got Jeremy Sneller from NEC leading the charge in partnership with Martin Atherton, an independent analyst from Freeform Dynamics. Together the pair will take you through the following:

- Where to start with unified communications

- Systems functionality and scale

- Engaging the stakeholders

- Designing in success metrics

- Rolling out unified communications

- Training and habit forming

- Tips for success
