15in MacBook Pro gains anti-glare
Sunglasses not required
Apple has taken some of the shine off its MacBook Pro range, by offering a 15in model with an anti-glare screen.
Until now, only the 17in MacBook Pro allowed customers to opt for a matte display rather than a glossy one, but now buyers of the 15in model can get the same feature. The option isn’t available for the 13in MacBook Pro.
The upgrade will cost you £40/$50 – the same as it does for the larger 17in MacBook Pro.
It’s worth noting that the anti-glare screen will change the aesthetics of your chosen MacBook. The screens on the standard 15in and 17in models are borderless, but the anti-glare option means you’ll have a thin bezel running all the way around the display’s edge. ®
