Loewe polishes off crystal-studded sets

Today’s pop stars love getting blinged, sorry, 'iced' up. So, what better way to follow in their footsteps than to watch them on a jewel-clad telly?

High-end TV manufacturer Loewe has launched a 32in Swarovski crystal-studded 1366 x 768-resolution telly. Each of the 20 limited edition sets will be available in a black or white body and feature an internal hard drive for recording all your favourite jewellery shows.

Motorised stands that’ll effortlessly allow you to adjust the screen’s viewing angle while expending no effort can also be bought as an optional extra.

The TV is set to cost roughly HK$68,000 (£4,500/€5,600/$8700), but a UK release date hasn’t been confirmed yet.

However, no telly session would be complete without some light refreshment. So, Nespresso’s launched a line of limited edition coffee creators covered with either traditional Swarovski crystals, or girlie pink ones.

Only 100 of each colour machine are being made, but each will set you back around $1000 (£500/€640). Ah, to be rich…
