The Game Boy brick: batteries not required

The Dutch brick-maker behind the bizarre idea admits that quite a few of the blocks exploded in the oven during "development". However, he now seems to have perfected the process, and is able to churn them out to order.

His website proudly display images of the gaming bricks incorporated into several places, including pathways and walls. The bricks cost €15 (£10/$20) each and although the maker admits demand has been slow of late, he told Register Hardware that only two orders have been placed so far.

If you’re a retro gamer and considering some home DIY, then you can order your Game Boy bricks here.
