Fort Bragg grunt in gay porn vid shocker

A grunt from Fort Bragg, North Carolina, has been discharged for performing in a gay video on a "military-themed gay pornography website", the Fayetteville Observer reports.

The unnamed member of the the 1st Battalion of the 321st Field Artillery Regiment was given his marching orders for starring in Active Duty (NSFW, natch), which promises "HOT AMERICAN SOLDIERS HAVING WILD GAY SEX!", and has become something of a showcase for Fort Bragg talent.

Last year, seven members of the 2nd battalion of the 82nd Airborne were charged with "sodomy, pandering and engaging in sex for money while being filmed", bringing disgrace on the unit whose battle honours include Normandy, the invasion of Grenada, and the Gulf War I.

The latest grumble flick participant was fingered in June for a vid apparently shot two years ago. Fort Bragg spokesman Colonel Billy J Buckner said: "Once the issue surfaced, the soldier's chain of command responded accordingly. We take this issue seriously, and the soldier's conduct does not reflect the values we adhere to in the Army."

The GI in question will make an ignominious exit from Fort Bragg later this month, the Fayetteville Observer notes. ®
