LG readies pink, white Chocolate phones
Numerous 'unique' flavours planned
White Chocolate, anyone? That's what LG today said it will offer around the world later this year. It will also offer a pink version of the popular slimline slider phone, and it has plans to ship a range of "unique" colour schemes too.
To date, the Chocolate handset - aka the KG800 - has shipped in a signature black casing with red highlights on the keyboard. The upcoming white model goes for black keyboard decals, while the keys themselves have a grey and white chessboard look. The pink version has white characters on a two-tone pink keypad.
LG said it has sold more than 1m Chocolate phones around the world since launching the product outside its native South Korea in May. The pink and white models will sit alongside the black version, but LG also promised to offer a number of "premium" models with "unique design variations and enhanced technical specifications". ®
