Zspire touts stealth-like mouse
Coffin-shaped for confidence?
Zspire describes its new alloy-cased cordless mouse as "sleek, eye-catching and iconic". Maybe it is, but we're just not sure how comfortable its stealth fighter-like body is to use.
That said, the company claimed the coffin-shaped rodent "supports a natural, comfortable [hand] position". Nonetheless, this piece of so-called "functional art" is "uncompromising in form and function". It appeals to "artistic souls". Apparently.
"Uncompromising in function" means that it provides a resolution of 800dpi - it uses LED illumination rather than laser tracking - and Bluetooth for its wireless connectivity.
Zspire today said it was now offering the product in four new finishes - Satin Sensation (silver), Nero Fusion (black and chrome), Industrial Graphite (charcoal) and Midnight Urban (black) - all of which cost $119 and come individually numbered. Zspire said it will sell to individuals and to companies looking to rebadge the product.
The mouse is available from Zspire's website. ®
